Mercy Waithera - CSI Fellow
Mercy Waithera is the first CSI Fellow from Kenya. Mercy graduated from the Nairobi Technical Training Institute in applied biology and has worked in Kenya on biodiversity conservation projects. Her research project on the surveillance of avian influenza virus at major wetlands in Rift Valley lakes was sponsored by the National Museums of Kenya. Mercy speaks English, Kiswahili and the Mother tongue.
