Alternative Energy

Most of the world's electrical energy is generated by combusting fossil fuels, and this combustion is changing the world's climate. In addition, the world's oil is running out and dependence on oil from a few nations means political and economic instability. These problems have led to a strong resurgence of interest in alternative energy sources. Several alternative energy strategies are undergoing revolutions.

Wind power
Passive solar energy
Active solar energy
Muscle power
Incentives, mass transportation, and sustainable communities
